The flap is lifted and excimer laser is applied to the lower tissue and cornea is re-shaped. Cornea map of the person is prepared in the method called iLASIK other than the standard method and the person is able to get rid of the eyeglasses by a customized treatment. Epithelium is not stripped in LASIK and for this reason, pain-stinging is minimum and short-term. Vision acuity reaches to maximum within a week in most patients following the laser application.
SMILE: In SMILE method called 3rd generation laser technology, a tissue part is prepared in the cornea by the femtosecond laser used to create a flap in LASIK. The surgeon takes this tissue from 2 mm incision and adjusts the camber feature of the cornea as required. The advantage of SMILE laser method is that there is no flap complication risk after the operation since flap is not created and reduces the complaint of xerophthalmia significantly and can be applied to mid-high degrees. The person is able to get rid of the glasses following a successful procedure.
Are you eligible for the laser treatment?

This intraocular contact lens remains in the eye for the lifetime and allows patient get rid of the glasses.
Replacement of intraocular lense (Smart lense): It is applied for the hypermetrope patients having difficulty in seeing both near and far and patients with short-sight difficulty and being above the age of 40, mostly. Natural eye lens losing its function is removed during this procedure and multi-functional artificial intraocular lens providing clear short, mid and long-sight is placed. These smart lenses refract the beams by the distance and serves for the requirement of the person.
We should not forget that we cannot refer any method for the surgery to get rid of the glasses as the best method. Every technology and method has some advantages and disadvantages depending on the person. The critical point is the determination of the most proper procedure for the patient.
